| Co-Presidents' Message
This year is Bach Fest's 31st year, and we have planned a blockbuster Festival to celebrate more than three decades of providing outstanding classical (and not-so-classical) music to the Chelan Valley.
The 2012 presentation of Bach Fest will begin on July 14th with Jazz Night at the Vogue, featuring Jeff Brooks, Jeff Lund and friends - followed on July 15th with the Young People’s Concert at North Shore Bible Church in the afternoon, Festival Concert I in the evening, and continuing all week, culminating in our final concert at Riverwalk Park on July 21st.
Included will be our Monday through Friday noon concerts at the Methodist Church, morning Courtyard Concerts at the Episcopal Church on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and educational programs for children of all ages on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
Our wonderful Bach Fest String Quartet will be playing at several area wineries during the week, beginning with a pre-Bach Fest appearance at Tunnel Hill Winery on Friday, July 13th and continuing at five other locations throughout the week.
As always, we thank our sponsors and donors, without whom we simply wouldn’t be able to present Bach Fest. We are also extremely grateful for our Board members, Executive Director and volunteers, who work very hard each year to bring these concerts to life.
We can always use more help and fresh ideas, so if you are looking for an opportunity to support the arts and work with a very appreciative group, please let us know you’re available!
Sincerely,
Karen Rich and Kerry Travers
