Musings from Bach Fest...

Some things never change

• Lake Chelan’s beautiful venues for our summer concerts consistently add a backdrop to the notes as they echo across the water or combine with stained glass windows.

• A dedicated board that has worked throughout the years, always keeping in mind our mission statement: “To inspire, enrich and educate”.

• Quality musicians from across the country view Bach Fest as a highlight of their musical year.

• “We bring music from our hands, our lips, our hearts, to yours”. Thanks to Daniel Baldwin for those words. It is why our audiences enthusiastically return.

• We still need your donation! Sponsorships and donations fund our organization.

Some things challenge

• We presented ten virtual concerts this past summer. Those concerts are still available on our Facebook page. Perhaps this challenge will result in a future opportunity to bring our in-person performances to our virtual audiences, widening our circle of those who are able to enjoy our programs.

• Beth Jensen’s granddaughter Olivia said it best, “When life is black, we are colorful.” A challenge to us to be strong despite all.

Some things bring hope

• Plans are being made for our 40th Anniversary Celebration next July! Our love for music has no finale.

• We are expanding our educational opportunities for communities and schools in North Central Washington, giving free in-school and virtual workshops and programs.

• We are grateful for the part you play in supporting our efforts by volunteering for a myriad of needs including financial support.

Money received will go toward the funding of our 40th anniversary season. Your gift is tax deductible. You will receive a receipt for your records. Your contribution is a way of giving us a very tangible standing ovation. Donations can be sent to PO Box 554, Chelan, WA 98816 or you can donate online by clicking HERE. We are thankful for music and for you!

With sincere gratitude,

Lake Chelan Bach Fest Board of Directors
